Service Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Timeline
We understand that plans change. Here's our cancellation policy based on timing:
More Than 48 Hours Before Appointment
- Full Refund: 100% refund of all fees paid
- Processing Time: Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
- Method: Refund issued to original payment method
24-48 Hours Before Appointment
- Partial Refund: 50% refund of total booking fee
- Reason: Covers preparation time and blocked scheduling
- Alternative: Option to reschedule with no penalty
Less Than 24 Hours Before Appointment
- No Refund: No refund available
- Credit Option: 50% credit toward future services (at our discretion)
- Exception: Emergency situations reviewed case-by-case
No-Show Policy
- No Refund: 100% forfeit of all fees
- Future Bookings: May require prepayment in full
- Definition: Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of scheduled time
Rescheduling Policy
First Rescheduling
Your first rescheduling request is complimentary if made at least 48 hours in advance. We'll work with you to find a new time that fits your schedule.
Additional Rescheduling
Subsequent rescheduling requests may incur a $50 administrative fee. Multiple rescheduling may result in forfeiture of deposit.
Stylist-Initiated Changes
If we need to reschedule due to stylist illness or emergency, you'll receive a full refund or priority rescheduling with no penalties.
Refund Policy by Service Type
Consultation Services
Color Analysis, Body Shape Analysis, Initial Consultations
- Deposit: 50% required to book, refundable per cancellation policy
- Balance: Due day of service, non-refundable once service begins
- Digital Materials: Once delivered, considered complete (no refunds)
Package Services
Capsule Wardrobe, Complete Transformation, Multi-Session Packages
- Deposit: 50% required to book, refundable before first session per cancellation policy
- Partial Completion: Refund of unused sessions minus 20% administrative fee
- Completed Sessions: No refunds for completed portions of package
- Package Validity: Must be used within timeframe specified at purchase
Personal Shopping Services
- Shopping Session Fee: Non-refundable once shopping begins
- Item Returns: Subject to individual retailer policies, not StyleSync
- Shopping Credits: Non-transferable, must be used within 90 days
Digital Products
Style Guides, Lookbooks, Color Palettes
- Once delivered electronically, sales are final
- Technical issues with file access: Will provide alternative delivery method
- Customized products: Non-refundable once created

- Bank Processing: Additional 3-5 business days for bank posting

Gift Certificates & Credits
Gift Certificates
- Validity: 12 months from purchase date
- Refunds: Non-refundable, no cash value
- Transferable: Yes, can be gifted to another person

Service Credits
- Validity: 90 days from issue date
- Usage: Can be applied to any service
- Transfer: Non-transferable
- Expiration: No extensions, no cash value

Medical or Family Emergencies
We understand emergencies happen. In cases of serious illness, injury, or family emergency, please contact us immediately. We'll work with you to find an appropriate solution, which may include:
- Waiving cancellation fees
- Extended rescheduling options
- Service credit with extended validity
- Full refund (case-by-case basis)
Documentation may be required for emergency considerations.
Weather or Natural Disasters
In cases of severe weather or natural disasters affecting travel:
- Free rescheduling for any weather-related cancellation
- Virtual consultation option when available
- Full refund if rescheduling isn't possible
Service Provider Cancellation
If we must cancel your appointment:
- Full refund of all fees paid
- Priority rebooking at your convenience
- 10% discount on rescheduled service
- Compensation for any pre-purchased items specific to your appointment
